LAHORE: Pakistani cricketers who this month appeared in the Indian Cricket League have been banned from playing for their departments in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Imran Farhat, Shabbir Ahmed and Taufiq Umar have threatened to take legal action against the Pakistan Cricket Board over the ban.

Imran, Shabbir and Taufiq returned from India last week after a successful ICL tournament.

Aware their Pakistan careers stand suspended because of their decision to play for the rebel league, they were however not expecting a ban on their domestic cricket.
